I heard U Miami is at 5pm tonight
@closemama They did! The other one hasn’t received anything yet (female).
@DivaStageMom – totally. We do the same thing. We ask my D how her theater ‘try outs’ went and ask the boys how football / basketball / soccer ‘auditions’ went. Too funny
@StanfordAI2019 my younger sporty kid frequently leans over during a show to ask if it’s almost half time. Lol
Also overheard him explaining to his teammates that if they were looking for a CF and his brother was a short stop then they wouldn’t need him for their team. Lol

For those of you hearing from UMiami tonight - does your letter refer to the BFA MT program? Ours does not… it just says she has been waitlisted but looks like the kind of letter that would go to someone who applied as undecided not the BFA… no idea what to make of this.
My daughter’s letter did refer specifically to the BFA, yes.
@moosegirlemy2 my daughter’s rejection looked like a rejection to the University and said nothing about the BFA program.
Hello MT Weary Warriors -
Any news on the final round of Syracuse notifications? My D is waiting on that one before we wrap things up and make a decision…
I am very grateful for all of the honest and candid posters who came before me. I salute you!
Exciting Friday night here – I’m going a little stir crazy, although I got the huge thrill of taking a trash bag out a little while ago. Woohoo.
Anyone else still waiting for Missouri State or UNCSA?
@PapaProud , we are still waiting on Syracuse too – but for Acting, not MT.
@PapaProud we are still waiting on Syracuse for MT…
Still waiting on Syracuse, Missouri State and NYU (coming Monday I think). We just did video submissions to Syracuse and NYU so we’re not holding our breath on those.
Hi theatre moms, wondering if you know how many students are put on the waitlist for University of Miami MT program? Any insight would be appreciated.
@moosegirlemy2 We received the same odd Waitlist letter with no mention of BFA Acting (my D is Action, not MT). We tried to contact the school to ask if it was for BFA Action, but they were already closed. Another Crucible Cast Party student told my D that they called the school and were told it is a WL for the program applied to. But, I’ll feel better when we confirm that for ourselves.
*Acting - I can’t believe autocorrect got me twice! LOL
@mirandaCA My d is also waitlisted for MT.
ECU (East Carolina) acceptance emails have been sent. The letter said their decisions were delayed due to the virus.
