Class of 2024 - University of Connecticut

I have a financial aid link but not a scholarship link, i submitted app on priority deadline but materials were send few days later so idk if im still considered for scholarship

I can’t get onto the student admin portal but I’m pretty sure it’s just the school wifi… can everyone else get on?

@ahsrim Priority just means you get first consideration. Even if you theoretically submitted later, you can still get considered

@“IMPATIENT MOM” I dont see “Enroll or Edit Direct Deposit Information” under finance tab. I can see other things, like ‘Financial Aid’ and ‘New admit Scholarship acceptance’. Also I see ‘applicant portal’ under admission. Do you still see “Enroll or Edit Direct Deposit” ? or anyone else see it?. It might have disappeared.

@ctDad5772, under finances he has:

My Account

View Fee Bill
Pay Bill, Authorize Users, Manage Payment Plan
Pay Fee Bill by Wire Transfer (USD or Foreign Currency)
Enroll or Edit Direct Deposit Information

I see it, but do not have the financial aid link.

I can see the applicant portal button too, this is a new change.

i also have enroll and edit direct deposit information, but is yours a link? i cannot click on mine but it is there

Yes I see the enroll/edit direct deposit…but it’s not a live link

Mine is a link most likely because I am an ECE student.

Mine is a link too I’m an ECE student as well

@“IMPATIENT MOM” Thanks! I too see “Enroll or Edit Direct deposit…” under the Finances. I was looking for it under Financial Aid.

I have a quick question, does everyone have on their portal the visit uconn storrs and the uconn hartford thing on theirs. I have both on my portal, but my friend only has the storrs one on his portal.

@sv52661 I do! But I only applied to Storrs. Did you also apply to the Hartford campus? It might just be based on what campus you applied to.

Did your son list Hartford as a second choice campus?

Yea. I have Hartford as my second choice campus, did you mention Hartford as your second choice college.

No, that is why Hartford is listed in your portal. I only applied to Storrs so that is why I only have Storrs.

I was just thinking Friday at 5pm actually isn’t bad for in-state students, so they have all weekend to process if it is a disappointing decision. Everyone will be asking each other at school since so many apply.

2/3 of ds20s class will have applied. The acceptance rate at his HS according to Naviance is about 70%, but I’m guessing that includes kids who were branched.

I read online that the acceptance rate for storrs specifically last year was 43%
