Has anyone actually hit the accept button on the “New Admit Scholarship Acceptance” link to see what happens? Just curious
I have the new admit scholarship link. Does that mean I got into honors? Because I do not really apply to any of the scholarships?
Not necessarily honors. It might mean you got a scholarship. You are automatically considered for merit aid, esp if you applied by 12/1
Has everyone’s student admin admissions section changed from accept/deny admission to just applicant portal?
My Ds’s has.
Ours has too
Are we thinking Friday for decisions or Sunday? When I called admissions they said that weekends don’t affect decision dates So I am gueesing Sunday. Anything sooner would be very much welcomed
The last several years have been on Fridays
Anyone else wondering what links or wording changes will happen overnight so we can over-analyze and question everything in the morning???
ok on that note, I’m going to throw this out there because I’ve had two kids go through it already. I recall one of the portal changes being an option to pay the enrollment deposit. It was a link that showed up under the finances on the left near the pay fee bill option. Let’s see if that’s it.
I’m really hoping for Friday. I don’t want to wait all weekend
Is it 5PM? Do we look at 5PM tomorrow?
I’m thinking based on the last few years results that it’ll either be 2/28 @5pm, 3/1 @5pm, or 3/2 @5pm. Hopefully it’ll be Friday so the wait can finally be over.
Were those past dates all Fridays? @ChrisTheSwimmer
Someone commented already that admissions told them that the weekends don’t affect decision dates. The website shows decisions starting to release on 3/1 so…yes it’s a Sunday but admissions already said doesn’t matter that it’s on a weekend. Although really, really hoping it’s tomorrow. This is late as it is for a release date.
2018 was on Wednesday the 28th, 2019 was on Friday 3/1
Should be Friday
Rumor has it if you try to log in to UConn’s blackboard page (where your courses and grades are shown in college) with your NetID and you get to a page where an account is already set up for you, you’re in!
Not necessarily, as there are students with an account already because they took ECE courses.
However, the backboard is different than the student admin section, so you could be right!
