Yes I am in state I hope this is good news but I don’t want to get my hopes up if it doesn’t mean anything. Lol
Oh it for sure means something!! Why would they give out scholarships for someone who gets rejected? haha I hope you got a good one! I know we’re both hoping for nursing so good luck!!
Awe thanks you too. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for both of us!!!
I can’t even open my student center anymore (I take ECE classes so this means I can’t even see my unofficial transcript anymore). I really have an inkling that I got rejected haha
are you all checking the basic applicant portal that has next to nothing in it other than campus and major selection, etc or is there another portal you’re referencing? My applicant portal remains unchanged…
We are checking the student center which isn’t the main applicant portal
@PBJonRYE Google “UConn student admin” and hit the netid login
Also, I called tech support and apparently this is a known issue lol. I may not be taking an L yet
Son now has a Financial Aid link (and says what others are saying - can’t access this year yet or whatever).
Where is this financial link? In the portal or huskyct? OOS
I’m not seeing and financial aid link anywhere…I hope that’s not bad news… oddly, the button to “visit Storrs campus” is now turned off…
Financial aid link is not found at the normal applicant portal.
You need to visit studentadmin.uconn.edu and log in using your NetID and access the student center to see. It’s not at the normal check status link people are mentioning. Hope that helps!
So I clicked on DS’s portal where it says you can request a major or campus change. Up until very recently he could still choose new major/campus. Now it says he would have to file an appeal to request a campus change to Storrs. Wondering if this means he was branched, or if this is standard at this point in the process.
I believe that everyone has this and it is just saying that if accepted a branch campus, you would have to appeal to go to storrs but if you get into storrs and want to switch to a branch you would not have to appeal if that makes sense. I have it as well but I also have a link in the student center that says “New Admit Scholarship Acceptance” and I am hoping this is a good sign
CTCape…I don’t have that. But DD never picked anything but the Storrs campus.
Thanks for the Info was able to see both new admin scholarship acceptance and financial aid links. Son is OOS major Biomedical Engineering
My student admin was finally fixed and now I see both my ECE class & the new student admit link.
My DD doesn’t have that “new admit scholarship” or any other financial aid link. Assuming that means she didn’t get in. Hoping for possibly waitlisted.
Wondering if those that see references to scholarships Applied EA…?
That makes sense–thx.
DS picked Storrs for 1st and 2nd choice as well. Do you think that under those circumstances they couldn’t be branched?
