Sounds like we are in the same boat-good luck to your daughter !
No. Pretty much contains what was in the portal. Nothing on merit. But I don’t think PSU offers much anyway
Thanks and same to you! We just got word today that they put her back in for review to UP for summer. She emailed on Monday so hopefully you will hear soon!
Thanks! Yes, that’s what I hear.
So apparently no admissions and nothibg new over 2 days. All quiet on the penn state front.
That’s what it seems like LOL Hopefully soon!
We received official acceptance envelope yesterday after 12/23 decision. DD very excited!
My daughter was accepted 12/16 and we STILL don’t have an admission packet! I’m going to call Monday if it doesn’t come this weekend. Her portal shows that she’s accepted her spot and paid the deposit - but she wants that envelope, lol!
accepted 12/22 and received my packet on 1/6 im in FL
Accepted 12/23 to UP and received our packet yesterday. Daughter was happy. We live in Michigan, fyi.
Guys I applied EA on 11/15 portal says that my app got deferred due to application volume😕
Was that updated today?
No, on 12/25
Sorry. My daughter is waiting for reevaluation since was out in 2+2 and now changed to undeclared from psychology. But still no to summer. All crazy this year. Good luck
Did you get a letter in the mail about the deferral? My son had an update on his portal around 12/23 about putting decision out to 1/31/21, but I felt that the wording suggested volume and may not have actually reviewed his app. The letter in the mail (couple days ago) had slightly different language that they did review the application but were deferring EA decision for further review (but says not to worry this will not negatively affect chances). He applied for computer engineering.
yes i haven’t heard back
I’m an international so won’t get a packet
hopefully they send out some decisions this week
Does anyone know what Penn State’s financial situation is? Do they normally give a lot of money?
@american1991 Penn State does NOT give out much financial aid. There are scholarships for Schreyer Honors College students and some provost scholarships by college, but I wouldn’t expect much (or anything).
