I think I’m stepping away from the portals and CC for the weekend! Going to try and muster up some holiday spirit around here. Meanwhile I don’t even think my son (the actual applicant) has checked at all while I psychotically check three different portals multiple times a day - I need a break! Hang in there everyone, and I hope there are some answers for some tonight. This has been a tough time for everyone.

My D21 is Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences, so who knows? I should just be way more patient about the whole thing. We will all find out in a matter of days! Congrats to your son!

My daughter also applied to U of Delaware, Temple and Pitt and they seem to have been
releasing their acceptances somewhat randomly as well.
That stinks because they may close for the holiday and make everyone who wasn’t accepted yet wait until after to get their answer.

PITT is always rolling and DE is modified rolling too. I do not know what the new word is exactly for what we have been experiencing here!

What Penn State does is called “modified rolling admissions” which is the way they do things every single year. You apply by a certain date, you hear by a certain date. This year has been no different than any other year, with the exception of the test optional button because they’ve never been test optional before.

@mulcaheyd1 Usually on saturdays only, but this close to the decision deadline I wouldn’t be surprised if there are decisions Sunday as well. At least, this has been the case in previous years so let’s hope! Good luck everyone!
