Class Rank

<p>Hello all
I go to a school that does not rank and does not do unweighted gpas, looking at the common app secondary school report it looks like the councilor has to give some sort of rank.</p>

<p>My question is if the school MUST put some sort of rank (decile quartile) on the common app? </p>

<p>Reason I'm asking is b/c I go to a very competitive school (94th in USA) and my decile is 9 although I'm a very smart kid and well above average....</p>

<p>If your school doesn’t rank and doesn’t do unweighted GPA your counselor will specify that on the school profile he/she has to submit, they are not obligated to make some sort of rank for you if they do not traditionally do it.</p>
