Hey guys quick question. When admissions officers see your rank, do they only see your decile percentage or do they see your actual number (like 40/400?

My guess is that it depends on how the college asks for the information, and how your school reports the information. For example, both the percentage and the actual number (xx/xxx) are on my son’s transcripts. I also think some of the applications he completed asked for his rank in the " xx/xxx" format.

It totally depends upon how each individual high school reports it.

Well, what information do you have access to? Your class rank will probably appear on your transcript if your school calculates it, but you’ll also be given a chance to self-report it on the Common App (if your colleges use it), so you can tell colleges whatever you know.

Depends on how your school reports it; I know my school doesn’t do class rank or weight GPA, so mine will probably be reported as a decile percentage. Your GC will be able to tell you what exactly they send.
