Was just wondering when incoming students are able to start registering for classes, and whether the decision on Dorm/Roommate will be done shortly. I had heard rumors that information would be provided this week, but so far my D has not heard anything.
Does anyone know?
follow-up. I have to say, given the current era of colleges allowing students to pick their own roommates via a facebook type election, I was a little apprehensive that Colgate still does roommate selection old school.
But I have to say when my D got her roommate selection, the roommate seems spot on in terms of a solid fit for my D. Its hard to say before you actually live with a person, by the two of them have so many common shared interests and similarities, that it has made my D much more comfortable, and I believe the roommate too. They speak daily and have already planned out their dorm room.
Something to be said about staying old school. Good job Colgate!!
