NYUHome isn't letting me register for Calc II even though my
AP score is high enough to take the class...is anyone else having a similar problem with registering for classes that require APs as a prerequisite? Thanks

you need to contact the math department

that's how I registered it

Yea...contact the registrar....but if ur a Sternie.... maybe you should take Calc I....retaking a class is great for your GPA, easier for you to study or lack thereof because you know the material! lol.......especially since Calc is just a requirement and ur not a Math major....that's my opinion....if you want to challenge yourself....go for it...that's the best attitude...but you should consider all perspectives......

Albert doesn't let you register unless you have all the prereqs, and it doesn't take into account AP scores, but the math department's nice...or you can go to the Stern advising office; they can get you in the class too...but I had to do this for Calc III even after I took Lin. Alg...it's a terrible system.

wait, will employers look at the classes that you took and see that you only took calc I, that might look kinda bad don't you think?

for stern that is*

umm....i think they look more at GPA and considering Stern's solid core curriculum/ business program....i dont think taking calc I or calc II will cost you a position....

do you seriously think that employers would scrutinize every single applicant's transcript?
