When do we go about doing this...my friends going other places said in July...Has anyone received any information from Cornell with specific incoming freshman material...calendar, etc.??? I am not going to be in town until orientation so I really would like to know what's going on!!

You will have to wait till orientation to sign up for classes...although i heard that this year A&S may allow prefrosh to pre-enroll for their courses!

When you go to your school's academic meetings during orientation (and you should, at least the first/big ones), they'll tell you more about registering for classes. I know some of the schools pre-register their freshman in required classes ahead of time, but you find out more about it during orientation.

most schools pre-register you. if not you can online during orientation week during add/drop and add any new classes you want.

Do transfers get priority over freshman and do we do it when we get there too? (since I know I have to take some freshman ilr classes n such)

www.schedulizer.com lets you design your own schedule using actual Cornell classes (I don't know how frequently the course catalog is updated, though).
