I was just accepted ED2 and really pumped to attend Bowdoin in the fall. As of now, I truly have no idea what I want to do. I can see myself in various fields ranging from math and science to economics and law. Are there any fields of study (I know that Bowdoin academics are pretty much awesome in general) that Bowdoin is known for? Also, how difficult is it to be accepted to one of the combined degree programs offered in Bowdoin? Thanks!

Bowdoin is apparently known really well for politics and government (this random little sophomore in Mock Trial was going on and on about her dream school and how it was the best for politics, etc. Finally I asked her what the school was and she said Bowdoin. I was shocked because it's my number one school and I had no idea.)

Is there more information out there?

Bump...

from what I have read Bowdoin is know for its Gov. program and I think they have a very good bio program as well.

take a visual arts class. the visual arts department is amazing. i would also suggest a theater class. ultimately, if you're undecided, you should choose your classes your first and second semester on the basis of the teacher, not the subject. i had real success with that, and ended up getting excited about things i theretofore had no interest in.
