classes: do we get to pick the subsections?

<p>when we register for classes, do we sign up for a particular section number if there is a discussion associated with that class, or is it assigned later?</p>

<p>im a transfer student to the college of human ecology and see several classes (like PAM2000) with sec 201, sec 202, etc. </p>

<p>im not sure if i should be marking these times off in my schedule (like i will have a choice in selecting) or not?</p>

<p>Yes, you do have to sign up for the discussion sections yourself. Use [Schedulizer:</a> Cornell University](<a href=“http://cornell.schedulizer.com/]Schedulizer:”>http://cornell.schedulizer.com/) to make your life much easier. However, note that it may not be up-to-date so after finalizing your schedule, check it back at studentscenter or jtf (whatever you want to call it).</p>
