The classes that I am taking for sure are:

Math 2A
EECS 10
Physics 2

My dilemma is that I need another class, but the classes that I wanted to take, either psychology or anthropology, are already full. If I take Chem 1A, will my schedule be too busy and hard my first year of college? If taking Chem 1A will make my schedule too overwhelming, does anyone know any easy classes that I can take? If it makes any difference, I'm going to be majoring in electrical engineering.

This is my freshman fall quarter schedule:

EECS 10
Chemistry 1A
Physics 2
Writing 39B

I’m also an electrical engineering major. Maybe your best luck is to waitlist and attend the first class lecture, then speak to the professor after the lecture and see what he says. How about a History and Political Science class? Make sure you take Writing (if not this quarter, in the winter).

maybe instead of chem, take writing (since it’s an undergrad requirement to get it done anyway). why not get done with writing first and then worry about chem?
