Classes [Freshman]

I actually first heard about it from my OL this summer, and it’s been a LIFESAVER. And I haven’t even started a class yet! :)</p>

<p>And I’m getting a little weirded out by the Schedule of Classes/the Pre-Planner…both really helpful, but possibly full of glitches, based on some of the classes I’ve been seeing on there. I’m hoping WebReg won’t be like that. :P</p>

lol yeah i was on that site for hours picking each teacher i wanted. still a bit confused over my schedule lolz… either i leave at 6:30 from my house everyday to get to UCSD [damn u rush hour traffic] or else i give up Herbst for Oprea and then chose Jordan…</p>

ok i would like some final advice. keep the following facts in mind:
I will be commuting from home [La Costa], rush hour traffic is about 7-9 AM and about 3-5 PM ish; i will probably be parking far and walking [to get exercise and so i dont have to pay and waste my time looking for parking, its just me :P]</p>

[</em>]Tues. Thurs = study time in library + extra stuff

[li]no herbst, but jordan is pretty cool [so its a both i guess][/li][li]majority of the time i will be stuck in rush hour traffic [unless i stay later on][/li][li]not as much study time so i would have to go home and study [lol, not a bad thing, but dont like it very much… home distracts me a lot][/li][/ul]</p>

<p>*I am looking for the most productive schedule and right now i think ALT 2 [which is what i think is the best] is what i really want to do. I think that it is orderly, and very well planned out which includes my study times so i have an idea of what is going on in the class. *</p>

<p>Alt 1 definitely seems the most appealing. </p>

<p>Have you considered MMW11 with DuBois? If you’re in her class you’ll miss rushour on the way home… and maybe you can take a calc class around noon if there is one… or something. Idk.</p>

lol thanks for the reply… a bit late but nonetheless helpful!
i decided to go with Alt. 2 … my enrollment day was the second day, so pretty much almost all the classes i wanted were gone :stuck_out_tongue: lolz</p>
