I made, I believe, to be the biggest mistake in my school career.
While I was attending High School, I took 3 classes at a community college and got a C, B, and a B. I knew I was not ready for this, but I made the foolish mistake of trying to have free periods in HS. I threw off High School. I was tired of AP classes, I wasn't at the best brightest of my life in HS and most of the bull I had to go through. I graduated High School, and went straight into the same community college to transfer into a UC.

I am doing fairly well for the first "real" semester of college. Getting A's in my tests, and studying regularly. I came to realization that I need to do this.
I am planning to transfer into a UC, majoring in Business Economics (Preferrably UCLA :D), but these classes I took in my High School years...really bothers me. Because I took a Math 1A--which is one of the class that a UC would definitely look into--and got a B.
I've seen the acceptance rate of BizEcon in UCLA...5%? I know that it is a highly selective major. Looking at my GPA as it stands...this would kill my chance transferring into UCLA. The GPA of average admitted transfer students stood about 3.80ish..that's near perfect.
What do you guys think? How would a UC look at my transcript? Would they see the improvement and look at my "Fresh" grades?

Another question
Do UCLA require IGETC for this major? (Business Econ) for Transfer Students?
I've talked to my counselor but it seemed like she had no idea what she was talking about.

Thanks in advance.
btw, great forums! =)
