Engineering does not allow escaping R&C B with AP or IB credit.

Chemistry 112A has a prerequisite of Chemistry 1B or 4B. You may want to search for “Chemistry 1A final exam” and “Chemistry 1B final exam” on the Berkeley web site so that you can compare what you know from IB chemistry to what Berkeley Chemistry 1A and 1B teach. Bioengineering does not actually require Chemistry 112A; you can take the less rigorous Chemistry 3A, which lists only Chemistry 1A as a prerequisite. Note that Chemistry 1A and 3A will be huge due to all of the biology majors and pre-meds taking them; Chemistry 1B, 4A, 4B, 112A, and 112B will not be as large (4A, 4B, 112A, and 112B are mainly chemistry and chemical engineering majors).

You can take Physics 7A if you have had the equivalent of Math 1A, which you presumably have since you want to take Math 53. Physics 7A is a heavily impacted course, so use your Phase I sign up for it.
