<p>I'll be a bioengineering major at Berkeley this fall.
Since there is a limit on the number of units students can sign up for, which two classes should I sign up for during Phase I? </p>
<p>Chem 1A, Math 53, or BioE 10?</p>
<p>1A and 53. Those two will fill up and are things you want to take early (though if you have AP credit to get out of 1A, you should use it); BioE 10 won’t fill up very quickly and isn’t something you HAVE to take early.*</p>
<p>*That said, this fall it’s being taught by Terry Johnson, who is a god among men and the best teacher I’ve ever had; he’s probably going to teach it again some time, so if you don’t get it this fall, I’d recommend waiting until he’s doing it again.</p>
