Classes to take for business economics major?

Hi,
I am an incoming freshmen and planning to major in business economics. What classes should I take first quarter? Right now, I am pretty much clueless and some help would be much appreciated.

Also, I was admitted under mathematics-applied science major. I can easily change this to business economics at orientation correct? The answer is probably on this forum numerous times, but I just want a reassuring answer.

Thanks

Take anything you want, there's nothing set in stone. I'm business economics and I took 3 completely random GEs my freshman quarter, which I randomly picked during orientation sign-ups. Don't overload yourself and there's no need to rush through your major requirements.

If your eally want to take some major classes first quarter, I sugggest either econ 1 and 2 GEs, or econ 2 and 2 GEs, assuming you haven't passed out of either class with AP credit.

Yes, you can switch your major at orientation (or whenever you want later on) easily.

Is it really strenuous if I'm taking Econ 2, Math 31A, and a GE Cluster my first quarter?

Depends on what professors you have and what cluster it is, but it shouldn't be too strenuous. You're going to have to work a fair bit more than if you were just taking GEs, though.
