Can anyone recommend a hotel near the college? I’ve been on TripAdvisor looking at reviews and they are all not so good! We will have a car so need a place to park (that hopefully doesn’t cost extra) and a clean, quiet room. Thanks for any recommendations!!

We personally find these three hotels to be especially reasonable and convenient when travelling by car:
Crowne Plaza in Newton
Hotel Indigo in Newton
Westin Waltham in Waltham
Of the three, Westin in Waltham is the least expensive. Although it is in Waltham, it is just a quick drive to BC.
And don’t forget to ask for the BC discount!

Personally, I would not recommend the Crowne Plaza. It sits directly over the Mass Pike. I stayed there while my son was at orientation. I had read the reviews and many had mentioned that the noise from the Mass Pike was very loud and disruptive but that if I asked for a room that was high up, and furthest from the Pike it would be ok. I did get a room on a higher floor, away from the road, and not only was it loud, the vibrations from the trucks roaring down the highway made the handle on my door shake so much that I thought someone was trying to get into my room. The Crowne Plaza might be convenient to campus but, in my opinion, the noise was certainly not worth it.
I always stayed at at the Marriott Newton, which has a BC rate. But, it is ~6 miles away from campus – straight shot (well, winding, actually), down Comm Ave.
