Clemson Business School

Would really appreciate feedback on Clemson’s Business school - specifically its reputation, internship opportunities etc. DS is hoping to major in Accounting there. He has been accepted into several other Business programs (Virginia Tech, Isenberg at UMass, JMU. waiting on Bentley etc). We love the school but are now interested into getting into the nuts and bolts of where a Clemson Business degree could bring him versus somewhere else.

I was not admitted into Isenberg… Gpa 3.5 and SAT 1390 and INSTATE… That is a very good program and will give you a great job after graduation. I cannot speak on other programs. Obviously, Bentley is a phenomenal business school as well.

Thank you! Appreciate the feedback. DS is looking to perhaps live in the South for awhile after graduation so Clemson/VT might make more sense but since we are most familiar with Isenberg and Bentley being great up in MA where we live we are trying to get a feel for what is held in high esteem in the South.

I have the same question “Mom” - my D is also accepted into Clemson Business and a few other business schools, including Isenberg. On the positive side, Clemson seems to be very serious about being a top business school with their #clemsonmeansbusiness campaign and they are opening a newly built, modern building to be the business school this year. IMO, I think Clemson is every bit as good as Isenberg or Bentley and clemson is definitely more selective overall than both of those schools according to every source I have read (USNWR, Princeton review, etc). Especially if your undegrad wants to be down south, I think Clemson would be a good choice
