Clemson Class of 2024

@frccollegebound You have to type in any six digit code and read that answer. That is the basis of the “hack”. If it says it does not match token on record then apparently you are in and if it says no token to begin with then a decision has not been made.

@RidleyBCHS I’m not sure I believe that is true. My D applied early November, finally got email everything was in a few days ago. The hack has worked before we even got the all in e-mail.

@swimmomofficial In what context? Are you sure you just did the second part as well? Mine still says no token on record.

@RidleyBCHS when I enter it states does not match token on file. It has said this since she submitted her app even though they didn’t have everything

@swimmomofficial Okay, thank you for that perspective. That is interesting. It is different than mine after all this time especially. The difference might signal something but there was only a small amount of actual proof that this worked.

QUESTION FOR FAMILIES WHO HAVE ALREADY HEARD A DECISION:

How long from the time you got the “completed application” email from Clemson, until you received your letter?? Approximately 7-8weeks? Longer?
Note: My son got his “completed application” letter on Halloween. So it’s been 6 weeks.

We applied August 8th, completed application email Oct 20th, acceptance letter dated Nov 21, received in mail Nov 29th

We are the same as above - OOS applied early Sept.
Completed application email 10/20
Acceptance letter 11/29 - dated 11/21

Good luck!

Has anyone from CA heard back from Clemson? I haven’t heard anything yet.
Residency: CA
Sat: 1500
GPA: 4.0 UW
5 APs
Date application was complete: 8/7/19

@ArbonneMom My daughter applied Aug. 1 and her application was “complete” in mid-August. She got her letter last month. I don’t think they send out letters based on application date. Hang in there!

@jse1820 I was reviewing this thread and saw you posted that we could call Admissions to ask status of application? I was thinking the wait stinks if we are waiting on a “No” so since my son is one who would be on the questionable side I may have him call. We would rather know he is not in now than in mid-February so we can start “dreaming” of another school!

@Momtofourkids, I wouldn’t panic. There has not been a decision made on the vast majority of applicants. Clemson doesn’t officially offer until Feb. unofficially they offer some high stat students earlier. For example, in the in-state HS my son attends, about 50 students are offered each year. But so far, only around 5 have been sent the acceptance letter. The rest will come in Feb.

My D got her acceptance today. She received her application completed email December 4th. Her acceptance letter was dated 12/5. It says she has been offered an academic scholarship. We are OOS

@swimmomofficial congratulations!

@mweb136 thank you

Congrats! When she received her application complete email on 12/4 did it give a date for notification? My Daughter got her completion email in November and it stated:
you should receive a decision around the week of February 15th.

My son got his acceptance from Clemson, today. Received his confirmation email last week. We also got the note about an academic scholarship, but we’ll find out the details in February. Is there a way to understand what that might even be? Such a tease not to include it directly in the package. He’s OOS and a CS major, btw.

@HokieCrazy These were the estimated award amounts for the class of 2023. No amount is guaranteed; these calculations were completed by another parent last year on CC using Clemson’s NPC, so I cannot confirm their accuracy. Awards vary year-to-year, and the new NPC for the class of 2024 will probably be released in January. I copied the info over from the 2023 thread to give you a ballpark on merit $; hope this helps:

“For a student ranked in the top 10%, with the indicated SAT/ACT, the estimated merit awards are:
SAT 1590-1600/ACT 36 - $20,000
SAT 1540-1580/ACT 35 - $20,000
SAT 1500-1530/ACT 34 - $15,000
SAT 1460-1490/ACT 33 - $10,000
SAT 1430-1450/ACT 32 - $10,000
SAT 1400-1420/ACT 31 - $7,500
SAT 1370-1390/ACT 30 - $7,500
SAT 1340-1360/ACT 29 - $5,000”

“For a student ranked between 10% and 15%:
SAT 1590-1600/ACT 36 - $7,500
SAT 1540-1580/ACT 35 - $7,500
SAT 1500-1530/ACT 34 - $7,500
SAT 1460-1490/ACT 33 - $7,500
SAT 1430-1450/ACT 32 - $7,500
SAT 1400-1420/ACT 31 - $7,500
SAT 1370-1390/ACT 30 - $7,500
SAT 1340-1360/ACT 29 - $5,000”

@Tigerwife92 thank you for posting! I had no idea how much money. Is it the same for OOS? Her did say academic scholarship

@HokieCrazy My D OOS email was dated 12/4, it said she would hear by 2/15. Acceptance letter dated 12/5.
