Clemson for Pre-med?

I recently visited Clemson and basically fell in love with the university. It seriously blindsided me and I did NOT expect to like it as much as I did. I heard that the department of biochemistry is amazing, my top choice major, and my other area of exploration is bioengineering which I KNOW would be good lol. But I have never heard too much about it being a good college for pre-medical students. Are the advising and opportunities available abundant for students? Or is it not as helpful in getting good admissions into medical schools?

Any first-hand experience is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Also interested in any replies. We went to the spring fling on Friday and they do have an advisor that is available.
For some reason they are part of the CAFLS. Not sure why.
