I was accepted into Clemson university and I was just wondering if there were any Clemson students that could comment on the quality or lack thereof of Clemsons Premedical Advising program. Thanks to anyone who sends a repy!

My sister is a senior at Clemson. Her roommate is premed as is her roomate's boyfriend. Both will graduate in 4 years and both have been accepted to medical school. I think MUSC in charleston.

So you can get in Med School from clemson. I don't know anything else.

One suggestion is to call the med schools you like and see where they get their students.

Clemson is not so cut throat that the grading curves make anyone but the very best only average. You can stand out. My sis will grad with a 3.7+.

good luck

They have 8% going directly to med school after graduation where UNC and UVa only have 2%. Where the students get accepted, I don't know.

bumping an old thread, can anyone answer these questions?

I know several students that graduated for medical school this past year, and they weren't "outstanding" in my personal opinion (you know, the geeks always in the library). You do have to major in something else though, so don't go in thinking to major in premed...

I am doing my pre-med requirements as a chemical engineer major, and its really easy getting them. Out of the Chemical Engineering dept., Clemson has an outstanding record of acceptance...can't remember exactly what it is, so I don't what to lie.
