<p>Yes, it is a very good engineering school. It's also located in a very beautiful area. Not much in the way of city life out there, though.</p>
<p>I agree. Clemson is known as very good engineering school in the south. It is located in a rural area but is pretty much right off a major interstate so getting to other places for entertainment/shopping, etc. is not difficult if you have a car.</p>
<p>I was looking for major cities in the area with google earth and found that out lol. It did look nice and forrested. seems like it might be a cool college town as well.</p>
<p>Everyone I know who went to Clemson really loved it and are die-hard Tiger fans.</p>
<p>Do people usually stick around in the area or are jobs hard to come by?</p>
<p>Speaking of the interstate and cars, is there parking available for freshmen? I can't go without my Mustang!</p>
