I am going to be a junior in undergrad in the coming fall. This and the last summer I have been working at a nursing home as a transporter and rehab aide 5 days a week 8 hours a day. Because of this I have not had the time to volunteer in a humanitarian or clinical setting.

I am applying to medical school next spring. How bad is it that I have not had any volunteering? During the fall semester I'm studying abroad in Europe so I won't be able to volunteer then. When I return in the spring, I will be skiing for my school club team, and either TAing or working in a lab, along with studying for MCATS.

The last two years of college I have been skiing, working (for free) in a lab, and working in a nursing home. I have a 3.99 GPA.

So what should I do about my lack of volunteering?
