<p>Hey all! So I have a issue. We have all worked in groups and there's this one person who dosen't do anything. Well, I have a issue that's similar to that. So I am the president of the robotics club at my school. I have a co-president (senior), vice-president (senior), secretary (senior) and a historian (junior). I am a junior. I have to do so much work the club and they don't do anything except secretary. I had to create the membership forms, talk with school officals. So everything from the start. At times, I don't even know why I even have a co-president. So I told this to my teacher. And he gave me the idea we could elect new officals. My problem is they would know I took away their position and be mean to me. Most of the seniors are in my class. So yah. I am not sure what to do. So please help me. Thank you ahead. :)</p>
<p>Would it be that hard to ask them to pitch in? maybe they don’t know your situation.</p>
<p>As president, it’s your responsibility to keep them in check. Tell then you think they are slacking off and that pitching in would be a good idea.</p>
<p>As highest officer, you have the power to call the shots and keep everyone in check. That’s a major part of the president role.</p>
<p>I would just try to get them to do something! You can delegate some easy, but time-consuming tasks.

<p>I often have the same issue, as club president, as I usually prefer to do everything myself so that I know it is done right. My co-president has it easy, lol!</p>
<p>Give 'em some work to do. They aren’t going to point-blank refuse you (if they do, take their position away, they seriously don’t deserve it).</p>
<p>But the problem is I told them. I told them in a email their tasks but they dont do it. I told them to do this and that and they dont. So because of this, my grades are going down.

<p>Tell them in person (so they can’t refuse). Emailing rarely works. It’s too convenient and easy to forget what you’ve read. </p>
<p>Maybe they don’t think you’re upset about this. They probably think you don’t mind doing all the work. Let them know, threaten 'em if necessary! It may be painful for them, but your grade shouldn’t suffer because someone else is being lazy.</p>
<p>And yeah, you might wanna be a nice person, but you don’t wanna be walked all over, do you?</p>
