Club with overlaping hours?

I did a club for 36 weeks in 10th. Now I'm doing the same club but it literally only started a month ago.

The UCs don't let you separate them (in terms of hours), should I just point this out in the additional comments?

No, you should just average everything between the two years. It should add up to the same amount of hours in the end anyway.

Wait what do mean - we were supposed to average the years? It definitely says ‘per year’ on the app.

I’m pretty sure they are just looking for a general idea. They understand that both school and club schedules change, it’s just to give perspective.

For me it was tricky trying to quantify my auto club position because we only meet officially maybe three of four times a year, but I am in the auto shop every day after school and we go on 15+ hour field trips. I put 1 hour/week for 36 weeks (much less than I do), that will be what the club sanctioned events average to. My application isn’t hinging on auto shop, I prefer to play it safe.

For another club (NHS) I put 4 hours for 9 weeks because again, we meet two or three times throughout the year but there are 9 4-hour community service projects we take part as a club every year. I could count the club meetings but because they haven’t been constant over the three years I have been a member, it’s not worth a reader doubting my data.

Ok thanks :)
