clubs?

<p>I think the list of NYU clubs is really overwhelming, so I'm wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I would like to join clubs that are big enough that they can make a difference, yet small enough that individual members can have some influence. I like to join active clubs that meet pretty often. I'm looking into joining a club in each of these areas:</p>

<p>-community service, preferably local (hands-on)
- finance/economics club, since i'm a stern student
- indian culture/awareness
- something really fun/more social!</p>

<p>Could anyone recommend some clubs to me? Thanks :)</p>

<p>there is a fun active and awesome indian dance group! my floormate is a member and LOVES it. she has made great friends and loves dancing in the shows.</p>

<p>there'll be lots of signs about the club fair during welcome week i think. every club you can imagine will be there.</p>

<p>yeah they have a list somewhere, in some booklet, of every club. there are hundreds. but i'm sure you will get a good vibe from one, not all of them will be active and good so it's great idea to ask around.</p>
