So i got accepted into Carnegie Mellon (SCS), UC-Berkeley (Engineering), and UW-Madison (Engineering, in-state). I really would like to double-major in Computer Science and Business, and am virtually stuck between the CMU and Berkeley programs. I realize that Berkeley has a better undergraduate business program, but CMU's computer science is outstanding. Then again, these schools would run me about 40-45k/yr; madison is about 8k. If i go to madison, i'd probably do Chemical Engineering and Business, because that's their flagship (if you can call it that). So with about one week to go, i'm still clueless. My parents say that money's not too large an issue, but i'd still see about 120k (4 years) in debts if i am to choose cmu or berkeley. right now, i'm leaning towards berkeley because i see it as being very well-rounded, but is it worth it?

If you are going to really end up being 120,000 in debt to attend Berkeley then go to UW. There is a difference between the schools, but not that much. If your folks are willing to pay for you to attend whatever school you want, then go to Berkeley.
