UW Seattle Vs Berkeley

Hi,
I am a Seattle resident and want to go into finance. I was wondering if Berkeley is significantly better than UW? Everybody in Seattle seems to think UW is amazing, but how does it compare with Berkeley? Cost and financial aid doesn’t really matter, but which is better and will most likely help lead to more employment opportunities in the business and finance world?
Thanks

Note that the UCB business major offers direct frosh admission to only a small number of students in specialty programs (GMP and MET). Most business aspirants need to go through a competitive secondary admission process, usually in their second year.

As one interested in finance, it seems odd to say that cost does not matter.

Ya, but luckily I’m in a situation where it doesn’t. How do you think Berkeley econ would be compared to UW foster? And if I were able to get into Haas after two years, is that significantly better?

They’re both great. UW, I assume, gives you a direct admit into the business school, and that’s a big plus. Berkeley is in the bay area and respected worldwide, and that’s a big plus.

Have you visited Berkeley? If so it should be obvious which university you like better. Go there and thrive. That will lead to the best internships and the best job.

btw, thriving means to grow, push your limits, and learn all while making grades high enough to get that job.
