Im going for Business and also have interests in studying abroad. Which school do you think will be better for me?

Is this Carnaige Melon/UMich you're referring to? If it were, say, central michigan U, it seems like an easy descision

Michigan over either CMU for business.

yea umich and carnegie mellon

Michigan for business.

UMich, no doubt.

you don't get into the business school at umich right away. You apply at the end of freshman year, and many still don't get in.

University of Michigan- Ann Arbor

U Mich for Business

Thanks for the replies guys

Is either school better for studying abroad?

I can't speak for CMU, but I know UMich has great study abroad opportunities.

CMU is no pushover for business though. But Pittsburgh sucks...

you actually brought up something I didn't think of hawaiiboy15, how do ann arbor and pittsburgh compare?

Im from NYC and I wouldnt mind a college town setting too much, but is it possible to commute to larger cities from ann arbor?

I'm from New York as well and I attend Michigan.

Sure, you can commute to Detroit, but you will get shot.

What's wrong with Pittsburgh? It's an awesome town. I agree with hawaiiboy, CMU is no pushover for business. Check them both out.

I'm just from Cleveland, so naturally I hate Pittsburgh. Whenever I go it smells and it's always dark and rainy. But Cleveland ain't much better, probably worse in some people's eyes...

But CMU has a pretty nice campus, knew someone that went there.

AA is a real cool town. Only draw back is it's freaking cold in the winter, but Pittsburgh wouldn't be much better in that aspect.

Hey liberate, im really into martial arts. can you tell me anything about the wrestling/boxing team and any martial arts clubs/intramurals/class at umich? also do you know of any good martial art schools in the area?

Yea these both these schools are pretty good, I think I'm gonna end up visiting them both if I get into CMU.

so does anyone have any insights on the martial arts stuff?

Tommy, I wouldn't know much about any of those topics. You should ask in the CC Michigan forum.
