<p>I finally have my financial aid from both schools: CMU gave me $33,465($20,340 in grants, $10,625 in loans, and $2,500.00 ; leaving ~$10,000 for me to pay out of pocket) and URochester gave me $42578($35453 in grants, $4625 in loans, and $2500 in workstudy; leaving about ~$3000 for me to pay out of pocket).</p>
<p>I have no idea what I should do. I want to major in physics, math, and possibly CS. I'm also planning on attending grad school. </p>

<p>If CMU gave you a package of $33G+ you have a lot more than 10G to kick in. Is URochester really that expensive? (over $45G by your numbers).</p>
<p>yea UR is that expensive and I dunno about the new calculator thing lol, my fin aid letter said that it was about 44k. I'm guessing from ur comment that with all the extra cost CMU cost a couple of thousand more right?</p>

<p>mines said $44,048 but the wierd thing is that it had 2 sections for dorms(one was Room which I have to pay for and the other was the Dorm fee which it says i don't have to pay for).</p>
