CMU Pre-College Acceptance 2007

Half way through! :)

I can't believe it's over.

I had a pretty good time. Had one great class and one okay class. One of them just wasn't all that challenging... ugh

Yeah, I wish my class had been a little harder. I guess I just expected it to be really hard but I've taking classes that challenging in high school (and I do not mean AP, either).

Luckily ECE is one of the toughest freshman courses, so I felt good. CS wasn't that bad. Though it could have been tougher, the experiences and memories I wouldn't change for anything.

I loved the experience so much.

haha agreed. cmu was way too much fun.

i need to find a way to go back next summer. seriously

Just sneak back in and hide in a closet, thats what a friend and I decided. :D

Well, I'm only a junior right now...what I think I'm going to do is apply for Diversity--but I doubt I'll get in. I come from a well-known affluent suburb of Detroit...I emailed them, and they sent me an email back talking about how most of the kids wouldn't have a chance to go otherwise, and I obviously had that chance this past summer. But...I don't know. I might be able to figure out a way to make myself seem like I would contribute to diversity...

Otherwise...well, you guys saw the Italy thing before. It's before precollege starts, but its the money that's an issue.

i'd say it's relatively easy to get in CMU Summer Program...
I got in last May..but I chose Stanford HSSC instead.
I think I made the right choice!

Um...going on a thread full of people who went this past summer and saying you think you made the "right choice"...not cool

And besides, I'm not talking about regular Pre-College.
