There aren't co-ed bathrooms at Williams, are there...?

Why yes, there are. And to my knowledge, no one’s had any trouble with them.

Actually, there are no designated single-gender bathrooms in the dorms, as far as I know (someone correct me if I’m wrong). But if you live in Frosh Quad your 1st year, as do the majority of frosh, it is highly likely that your bathroom–usually shared with 4-6 other freshmen–will be de facto single gender. As an upperclassman you can live in Dodd neighborhood where rooms with private or semi-private bathrooms are in abundance and are obtainable as early as your sophomore year. Otherwise, all floor or suite bathrooms may be co-ed. But even in those cases, the showers and toilet stalls offer sufficient privacy, and some of these co-ed bathrooms are single-occupant bathrooms with locking doors.

You wouldn’t be forced to use a co-ed bathroom; if you are placed in that situation in your 1st year you can easily appeal for a housing change.
