Hi! I'm registering for housing for next year, and I heard that many of the bathrooms in freshman housing are co-ed. Out of all the freshman houses, how many have co-ed bathrooms on the co-ed floors?

From what I can tell, there are no co-ed bathrooms in freshman housing, even on the co-ed floors. Branner and Toyon Hall both do have some co-ed bathrooms, but I don’t think freshman live there.

You can double-check here:

and Crothers.

The bathrooms in all residences housing freshman are single-sex.

Thank you so much!

I’m not sure, but I think the first floors at stern/wilbur in all freshman have a coed handicap bathroom.

this is not true, haha - i’m a frosh in a stern hall dorm on a coed floor and we have a coed bathroom, as do other freshman dorms. it’s really not that big of a deal - the sinks in the middle are the only area that are really “co-ed” as the showers and toilets are separated by gender on either side of the bathroom. it was weird for like a week but i’m totally used to it.
not sure how many frosh dorms have coed bathrooms, but they do exist. if you REALLY want to avoid it, list single-gender floors as your preference.
