Co-Ed bathrooms?

Does UCD have co-ed bathrooms? I went to decision day yesterday and the tour guides weren’t very specific about the bathrooms? I would seriously prefer to not share a bathroom with the other sex, but I don’t have a problem with a co-ed floor. Do I have to do something specifically to not receive a co-ed bathroom? I am considering Cuarto as my first choice because I do not want to have a co-ed bathroom, but I’d rather not live off-campus.

Don’t blame you for a minute. I will watch this thread for my sons’ sake.

In this they seem to say that as of 2010 the bathrooms in coed floors are unisex (scroll down) <a href=“All female floors? - University of California - Davis - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-davis/929310-all-female-floors-p1.html</a></p>

I went to Decision Day too! From what I understood, its best to just be in a same sex floor or live in like Cuarto.

@collegevgetting and @Jamsam Thank you!

There are no co-ed bathrooms on the co-ed floors. Males and Females have their own separate bathrooms.

@Gumbymom But are there co-ed bathrooms at Davis?

There are gender neutral public restrooms in some buildings (not the dorms), but they’re meant for one person at a time, so don’t think that’s the same thing as co-ed bathrooms. (And by the way, Cuarto isn’t that far off-campus. It’s about a block away from the Segundo housing area and directly next to the U-Mall)

No, Davis has separate bathrooms for M/F, even on co-ed floors. I stayed in Segundo Hall last week for an overnight thing, and it’s totally fine. Actually I really liked the bathrooms, they were cleaned daily and the showers were good. Tercero, though I didn’t stay in it, is the same.
