<p>Would you all recommend co-ed or single sex floors? I'm a female transfer student planning on going in a dorm building at UC Berkeley and do want to meet as many people as possible, but sharing a bathroom with guys seems like it would be pretty uncomfortable and inconvenient.</p>

<p>I think you should ask this question of the UCB forum. Most people on here attend community colleges, so they don’t have any experience living in dorms. </p>
<p>Even if it was co-ed, I’m pretty sure you’ll be getting separate bathrooms for males and females. </p>
<p>@k4201505 That may not be the case. I participated in a program that allowed me to visit UC Santa Cruz. I stayed two nights over there and the bathrooms were co-ed</p>
<p>I know that some of the bathrooms at Cal are coed.</p>
