<p>Do you have to say “yes” to the Emory question to be a finalist for the cocacola scholarship? If so, then I am not even going to be considered.</p>
<p>I don’t think so, but you never know the reality. Persianprincess is the only CC member on this thread who is a confirmed finalist, and it was communicated via phone - by Emory; makes me wonder if response to Emory questions have anything to do with the finalist selection or early notification. It better be not.</p>
<p>I hope not either. I said “No” to the Emory question, because I wasn’t interested and also because I thought it was separate from the cocacola finalist decision.</p>
<p>i guess i should mention that i initially said No to the emory thing because i dont get accepted/declined from emory until april 1st. i really dont know why i got chosen. lol</p>
<p>and the emory thing is totally seperate. they only choose two so it has nothing to do with your finalist decision. i think they just called to see if im interested so they know whether or not to give the opportunity to someone else.</p>

does anyone know if every semi-finalist gets an email, or do they notify only finalists (as they did with semi-finalists)</p>
<p>On the website when I go to the finalist list, it says that they won’t be selected until March…ughh why are there so many different dates haha</p>
<p>March is when the scholars weekend takes place and they differentiate between regional and national winners. That’s why it says that.</p>
