<p>For those wondering what happens when you click submit:
"Thank you for completing the Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship application.</p>

<p>You may return to this site to update information as needed until the application closes. The deadline to submit applicaitons is October 31.</p>

<p>Notifications will be sent to all applicants in early December."</p>

<p>That's a nice system, but it's sorta confusing if it got really submitted or not... O.o</p>

<p>How do they choose the 2200 semifinalists from such a short, objective application?</p>

<p>From what I’ve heard, they have a computer that sifts through and ranks. Sounds plausible since they have so many applicants for the first round… Anyone else confirm/deny?</p>

<p>do i put the number of honors/ap courses that I took? or the number my school offers?</p>

<p>How many are offered is what I got from it. I have to go ask my counselor that. It’s the one thing I’m waiting on before I submit…</p>

<p>Why would you lie? And if you’re selected a semifinalist, you have to supply letters of rec, transcripts, etc. - it’d be pretty obvious if you did lie.</p>

<p>HELP! I registered for the application in August but didn’t apply and now when I log in I can’t see my application but I can see my profile? All it says on the My Application page is “Click on name link above to access application” None of the buttons on the page work!!! The application is due 10/31 and its the 30th today!!!</p>

<p>Does anyone know when the notifications will be out? It’s December 12 and I still haven’t got my rejection email so my false hope is still left hanging…</p>

<p>Hang in there. I do not believe anyone has heard yet. The Coca-Cola scholarship website states: “update: all applicants will receive notifications of their status in mid-december”, so it should be soon. Good luck to you.</p>

<p>Coca cola is notorious for missing the dates they set out to meet, so it’s no surprise unfortunately. :(</p>

<p>Notification informing you of the reading committee’s decision will be mailed in early February, 2012. Those selected as Coca-Cola Scholars must attend the Coca-Cola Scholars Weekend (April 12-15, 2012) at the Scholars Foundation’s expense during which time you will interview for one of 50 National Scholar awards of $20,000. The remaining 200 Scholars will receive Regional Scholar awards valued at $10,000.</p>
