Cockrell transfer - chance me please.

Freshman at UTSA hoping to get into Cockrell for either Mechanical, Civil, or Architectural. I don't really care what program, I'd settle for the least competitive one.

Here were my grades at mid-term.

Calculus III - 4.0
Survery of Art & Architecture - 4.0
Introduction to Macroeconomics - 4.0
English Composition I - 3.0

GPA - 3.77

Obviously those grades above aren't set in stone, but I am confident that I can keep them up, what would you say my chances are? I could probably get a letter of rec from my calculus professor, I am a good student and am friendly with him.

Did you get in to any of the engineering schools? I’m at UTSA right now and I intend on transferring fall 2015

They won’t even look at you if you don’t have credit for at least PHY 1903 or 1943 (w/lab), and even then you’ll only be minimally competitive. To be more competitive you’ll need PHY 1923 or 1963 (w/lab), additional science (whatever is required by your major), and differential equations.
