Hi, I got into UCSD with a major in Cognitive Science specializing in neuroscience, and I have gotten into the letters and science at berkeley. If I want to pursue cognitive science research, do you think I should choose UCSD or Berkeley? How good is Berkeley's cognitive science department?
I know UCSD's grad program is 1st for neuroscience and is quite exceptional, but does that apply to undergrad as well. I'm still not sure which to choose.
Also, if I am not 100 percent confident I want to go into cognitive science and I want a more general approach into college which should I choose do you think? thanks so much

Hello. I'm srry that no one posted anything to your thread for two years. But i am wondering which college did you finally decide on. I was in your situation nearly 9 months ago. I was thinking about cognitive science and I also got into UCSD and UCB. I eventually chose UCB, but i think it was primarily my strong intent to go to someplace far for my college experience (I am from southern california). So with that said, how are you doign in cognitive science? or did you decide to change majors?

^It is better than you message/email them. That user is not a regular CC editor

hello:
i am a freshman who is currently taking the prereqs for cog sci (also planning on a neurosci concentration). like you, i was also admitted into neurosci for ucsd. i believe the actual concentrations we choose for cog sci dont show up on our transcripts officially, although the courses we take will so it might be a good idea to take the general path..and difficulty wise, i think cs 61a and math 55 are the two hardest classes we will have to face...hope that helps
