<p>Yeah, email Thanh if you can. Major requirements have been going through an overhaul since I graduated in 2010, and it seems a lot of my advice is not outdated.</p>
<p>Yeah, they are changing the requirements a ton for this upcoming year. They will no longer accept the math 10 series and math 11 also no longer counts. They are just trying to make it more intensive as a major to better prepare kids for jobs so it makes sense to get rid of Cogs 18 an add a real CSE programming class.</p>

<p>They’re still offering both the BA and BS, except they’re not accepting the 10 series for the math req for the BS anymore. For a BS, you’d have to take the 20 series now. I’d trust the info on the ucsd cogs site, since it’s updated more frequently as opposed to the ucsd course list which often has some outdated info.</p>
