Can anyone offer any first-hand accounts of how the Cognitive Science program at Yale is?

oo, I’d like to know too please!

The best I can do is second-hand. The CogSci majors here love the program. And it makes sense. CogSci is highly interdisciplinary and its important factors are some of Yale’s best programs. For example, neuroscience is among Yale’s strongest science programs, arguably its strongest. Psychology is one of the largest and most raved about programs here (after all, many of the top psychologists in the field today would be your professors!). It is safe to say that the CogSci program here is outstanding. I am a freshman considering both CogSci and Economics (leaning toward econ but more because of how much i like econ than because of either program), so I’ve researched this stuff pretty extensively.

Given the apparent liberalness of course selection, I imagine that individuals’ cirricula vary widely. However, can anyone comment on whether most pursue more psychology- and philosophy-minded programs, or more neuroscience-oriented programs?
