Colby Regular Decision 2022

Son waitlisted. 1560 SAT, 3.75/4.3 GPA, Strong ECs. Campus visit and alumni interview. Congratulations to all who were admitted!

Wow. It’s really looking like demonstrated interest is a big deal. Some high stats getting waitlisted. When schools don’t have a supplemental essay, they rely on other ways for kids to show interest. That’s good to know.

@akrem111 Well, all of the things I’ve seen written above - interview, visit, go to local college fair booths, get on their mailing list, etc.

International here… Accepted… 33 ACT 42 Predicted IB Grade with 4HLs and decent ECAs. Let’s see what happens with my other colleges.

Accepted and a Scholar! I didn’t show any interest, but I know that’s something they probably value

@homerdog My DD didn’t interview nor visit campus. The only interest shown was submitting a Creative Writing portfolio. She did have stellar recs and a REALLY unique essay which probably really helped her get in.
