I think it’ll take at least two or three days for most people to receive their letters
Two years ago it took 3 days to receive the letter in the suburban Boston area. It was sent via the regular mail. I think some people in CA got theirs before it arrived here. So it’s a little bit of a toss up.
Does everyone have the same blurb on their portal: “Colgate’s Office of Admission has appreciated the contact we have had with you through your college search. We understand that you are eager to learn the outcome of your application. The application review phase is now complete. We plan to communicate our admission decisions soon. We do not display decisions on the portal and we do not give out decisions over the phone. We thank you again for your interest in Colgate and give you our best wishes for your college career.”
We got our University if Richmond acceptance (which is much further away), a day after it was mailed.
So, had you gotten accepted it would not have been crap? No need to disparage a school because you did not get accepted. Just like you are trying to get accepted to the best (fit) school you can, they are looking to accept the best students they can. Just hope that other admissions officers are not reading your comments here, it would not reflect well on your application.
With that attitude even a rejection is way too much for you.
chill yall
Does it mean that any international student who did not receive a rejection email till now is accepted? I haven’t received any postal mail with an acceptance or anything neither did I receive a rejection email which many of my friends did. Really confused.
@akin67 What the heck are you referring to?
Please disregard those posts folks. There was a user who started trashing a school that they got wait listed at and became vulgar. When the moderator removed their posts, my responses no longer make sense.
Oh okay I was confused lol
@qaz12345rfv I’m international and I haven’t been emailed, so I’m just assuming I got in because while the rejection/waitlist emails were staggered, I highly doubt they’d send others out this late
@trish123456 : I hope so too. It’s so uncertain. The anxiety is killing me.
I’m international and I haven’t got an email yet either. I know people who did receive rejection emails. Assuming we’re all admitted. I don’t know anyone who got waitlist emails though.
@karatekid98 There are a couple of international people on this thread that said they received a waitlist email, so those were already sent out
Still not letters, surprised
I’m international and didn’t get an email, now my physical offer of admission came in the mail, surprise!
willl the acceptnces be delivered to the door or placed in the mailbox?
@tku980 Congrats! If you don’t mind me asking, where do you live?! I’m getting so anxious and I’m eager to know if my letter will arrive today. I live on Long Island
Fed Ex delivery to door for S today. In Wisconsin.
