Colgate vs. Union

I’ve been lucky enough to have been accepted to both of these schools. Sadly, I have not been able to visit yet.
In terms of cost, I received similar aid from both schools.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the campus environment/life. I know both have good study abroad program but is one better than the other?
I will be majoring in neuroscience and I’ll be pre-med. Which school has better advising/better chance of getting into med school?

Any input on the schools help. Thanks!

Not sure one is better. Union has a program with SUNY Albany med school (I think) that might be of interest to you. I would also look at th academic calendar. I like union’s 3 terms with 3 classes each, but that’s just my opinion. Union has an engineering school but it doesn’t sound like that matters to you. Colgate has a cute town. Union, not so much but you can get Amtrak to NYC, for example. Colgate felt a little more privileged to me but I don’t know how truly different they are. I liked both.

I do like the idea of having a trimester system. Can anyone tell me what school has a better neuroscience program, or are they pretty similar too?

Union College is better for neuroscience.

Also, what school would be better for conducting research, internships, doctor shadowing etc.

Union’s location and class schedule may make it easier.
