<p>OK, this is a naked plea for congratulations. I posted that my D got into U of Southern California and no one congratulated her/us. [imagine sad smiley here . . . How pathetic is this !? ]</p>
<p>My niece got bad news regarding colleges, so we don't want to make a big deal in the family until a little bit of time has passed. I can imagine how my niece feels, and it hurts. So I want to respect how she feels right now.</p>
<p>But I want to celebrate with you folks since you all are getting such wonderful news too!!! My D loves both her 2 top choices, and we're all so thrilled we can't stand it!</p>
<p>So sorry I missed the news, hayden. Woot! Woot! for your D! She's in at a great school. Go Trojans!</p>
<p>Hayden - USC! My D's best friend from high school is there, D goes to visit her soon, says it is great. Congrats!!!!! Celebrate here with us. Gloat even - and then come on over to Sinner's Alley in the Cafe.</p>

<p>Hayden, congratulations to your daughter (and to you)! An acceptance from a top-choice school is a truly excellent and wonderful feeling. I applied EA to my first choice school, and I cried when I read the acceptance letter. It was pure bliss for me knowing that I will be attending my first-choice school. I am sure your daughter felt the same way I did. Will she be attending Southern Cal?</p>

<p>Fight on everyone....to month's end! I don't remember all this acceptance stuff last year. I mean the list is a page long and more now. Just shows what can be done if you put your mind to it. The kid I have helped this year, on the side, has been accepted with 1/2 scholarships to every school so far: 3 more to go.</p>
