I want to retake SATIIS and SAT I in october and november. Would I still have time to apply to Stanford, MIT, carnegie mellon, cornell, and those engineering schools after the scores come out?

I probably won't be able to make the early decision that way

Plus, what advantages does the early decision give me in admission, besides the fact that I really like that college and want to go there badly.

Generally, a school's early acceptance rate is higher than it's regular acceptance rate, so you gain a statistical advantage. ED will generally give you a greater boost than EA because colleges prefer applicants they know will come (yield protection).

what if I make it clear to them that I want to attend their university?

If you write a convincing essay explaining which explains why you want to go to that school, it will help, but not as much as applying ED would because it's still just cheap talk.

In terms of scores, October will definitely be ready for early applications, and November is accepted at some schools (check the websites; last I checked, MIT accepted November scores. Don't know about the others)

For RD, December and sometimes even January scores are considered.
