<p>Hello. this my first statement. As I have two grandchildren who have applied to college, I wish to research the #of admissions compared to accdeptances</p>

<p>That number is called "yield" - # enrolled/# admitted. You can generally find these numbers (or can calculate them) on the school's Common Data Set, or on their website as Class Profile or Fast Facts or something similar.</p>

<p>If you go to a website such as Princeton Review or google "College acceptance rates," you will find a lot of information about the specific schools your grandchildren, for instance, applied to.</p>

<p>They will tell you an Acceptance Rate - basically how many people were accepted of the total number that applied.</p>

<p>^ Oh, nevermind then. I didn't know the OP was asking about yield rate. Ignore my above post, then.</p>
